Frequently Asked Questions From Mike's Desk

  • Will my KIOTI factory warranty be affected if I do some or all of my own maintenance?

While we welcome the opportunity to service your tractor, skid/tracksteer, mower, or UTV, you will not run afoul of the terms of the factory warranty. The owners manual that you received with your Kioti lays out the maintenance requirements for your equipment, and it is your responsibility to follow their directives. Always record the servicing performed using the owner’s manual’s handy log.

  • I bought a KIOTI tractor from you and I always perform my own maintenance. As I am 1,200 from LSE, can you ship the items that I need?

Yes! Absolutely. Oftentimes our customers that are much closer than you, discover that even with the small shipping charges, buying from our Parts Department saves them both money and time!

  • I didn’t buy my KIOTI from you, which I now know was a mistake. The dealer that sold me my RX7340 cab tractor doesn’t seem able to answer even the simplest of questions. May I ask you?

Of course. While we sell more KIOTIs than anyone else on the planet, we know that we don’t get to sell all of them. We are proud to be a KIOTI dealer, and we will do everything that we can to promote the brand, and respect its owners. Ask away!

  • I am new to tractor ownership, and I am feeling a bit intimidated. Is there a resource that will help me learn more about my tractor?

We understand completely. As goes the old adage, “you don’t know, what you don’t know”. Please start by subscribing to our YouTube channel. There you will find dozens of relevant videos on subjects as varied as “Your New Tractor Has Arrived. Now What?” or “How To Install Your KIOTI Backhoe”. You may also consider joining some of the KIOTI owner’s groups on Facebook, and never forget that we are here to help.

  • In one of your videos Mike said to stop using the old overhead steel fuel tanks. Mine has been on my farm for 30+ years, and it works just fine for my 1975 Massey Ferguson 135, so what gives?

Diesel engine technology has come a long way in the last 50 years, and in fact even in the last ten years so much has been improved. Many modern diesel engines, including every Kioti over 25 HP, feature high pressure direct fuel injection. This is what makes the engines quieter, smoother, and vastly more efficient. It works so well in fact, that you may never have to preheat glow plugs again! The fuel is pressurized to over 30,000 PSI. That’s high enough pressure to cut a log in half! The tolerances are so precise that there is no allowance for filthy fuel. Many of those old steel tanks are rusty, and particulate matter like that is to be avoided. Use fresh fuel from a trusted supplier, and from a clean container.
